YIWU-the 3rd phase of Yiwu International Trade Mart was officially opened this morning at the south gate of the market with a grand opening ceremony. This new market is now the nation’s largest single building market and was said to be the flagship market of Yiwu city. 
After 5 times of removal and expanded for 9 times, Yiwu small commodity market has a business area over 4 billion square meters which achieved a trade volume of 34.8 billion Yuan in 2007 and more than 50% are from export business.

    With an investment of 0 billion Yuan, Phase 3 of Yiwu International Trade Mart is the 6th generation market of Yiwu China Commodity City. It has a total business area of 1.08 million square meters and 16,000 booths. The new market specializes in socks, daily consumer goods, gloves & mittens, caps, knitting, shoes, thread & ribbon, lace, neckties, woolen thread, scarves, bras and belts.
