Yiwu International Commodities Fair 08 Opened
The annual China Yiwu International Commodities Fair attracted nearly 110 thousand customers today from home and abroad to Yiwu to attend the 5-day Yiwu Fair 2008.
“Among the 110 thousand businessmen, 17 thousand are from overseas countries including 80 trade delegations and representatives of more than 10 multinational retailers. “ said Mayor He.
It has been the 14th session of Yiwu Fair which is gradually becoming an important platform for exportation in China. 3056 exhibitors set up 5144 booths in this session of fair. And it is the first session with international pavilion where exhibits products from foreign exhibitors from America, Britain, Japan, Italy and Brazil etc.
In order to protect intellectual property right, exhibitors in international pavilion must have foreign business license, C/O and registered trade mark. A group from Administration of Industry and Commerce and Customs will in charge of the IPR protection on Yiwu Fair.
China Yiwu International Commodities Fair was a trade show of daily consumer goods approved by the State Council and organized by Ministry of Commerce, People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, National Light Industrial Union and China General Chamber of Commerce.
