17 thousand Foreign Businessmen Predicted to Attend Yiwu Fair

China Yiwu International Commodities Fair 2008 is scheduled to open on 21-25 October. This session of Fair, the 13th in its history, set up 4500 international standard booths, has 500 booths more than last year.

    Since 2005, Yiwu Fair has become the third largest trade shows around China following Canton Fair and East China Fair. Yiwu Fair 2008 covers 15 industries including stationery, sports goods, toys, knitting, cosmetics, hardware, electronics, suitcases & bags, jewelries, crafts, daily consumer goods, E-commerce and automobile accessories.

    Officials from the Fair estimated there will be over 17 thousand foreign businessmen, 80 foreign delegations and 10 multinational retailers come to the Yiwu Fair.
