With a total investment of 1.8 billion and a total construction area of 300,000 square meters, Yiwu International Expo Center which can accommodate over 5000 booths will be put into use at this year's Fair. The scale of the Yiwu exhibition hall will be more immence than Hangzhou, Ningbo and other places, and the yiwu exhibition hall will become the NO.1 in Zhejiang Province, and second in East China. This is also the latest goal of Yiwu municipal government promoted last week – to make Yiwu an International Commodities Exhibition Center. Yiwu is also known as "set up on the exhibition industry in the city," one of the recipients of "China's top ten exhibition city", "Top Ten Chinese Exhibition town" and other awards.
   The unique feature which Yiwu is different from the other place lies in Yiwu exhibition industry with Yiwu market close. Yiwu market has 62,000 spaces and has gathered daily production of 10,000 dozens and the corresponding enterprises and their products from all over the world. Business operators and production companies are exhibitors’ enormous resources. Yiwu market has 20 million passengers every day, more than 10,000 permanent foreigners, more than 2,000 overseas business agencies, and more than 300,000 passengers each year to the foreign justice. They all constitute a large group of buyers.
   Fair each year, 30% -40% of the guests are first time exhibitors to Yiwu. Yiwu market not only provides enormous business opportunities, but also promotes the internationalization of Yiwu market trends. In order to expand the influence of early Yiwu in 2007, Yiwu has gotten  the passport to hold an international exhibition as a county-level cities. In June this year, Yiwu will hold Yiwu Fair in Dubai exhibition for the first time, which opening up overseas market and making Yiwu become an important step in the exhibition business.
